Amendments

The thirteenth amendment states that niether slavery ir involuntary servitude.Shall exist in the United States except when a citizen is duly convicted .Or anywhere the U.S. has juristiction.
The fourteenth amendment states that all persons born or naturalized in the U.S. and any state they reside.No state shall make or enforce any law that will abridge the priviledges or immunities of its citizens of the U.S. Nor shall any state deprive any person of  life liberty,or property,without due process of law,nor deny any person within its juristiction the equal protection of the law.It also states that you must be twenty one years old to be able to vote.It also states you cannot be elected to a government if  have been a part of a rebellion against the U.S.
IF you were congress ca removesuch a disability thruogh a vote of two-thirds of each house.Congress shall have the power to enforce, appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
The fifteenth amendment states the right to vote shall not be denied or abridged to any citizen on account of race ,color,or previous condition of servitude.The Congress shall have the right to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.(Robert A. Divine et al.,America Past and Present A-12)
